Fariba’s Testimony

A story of addiction

My name is Fariba, I am 36 years old and I grew up in Dallas. I started to rebel in junior high and continued in high school. My motto became sex drugs and rock and roll. Trying every drug I could get my hands on I ran away from home. Being on the streets, I turned to drugs and prostitution just to survive and feed my addiction. I found myself in and out of jail and addicted to heroin. Before I knew it, the street violence and the “itch” became too much and after 10 years of being lost, I found the Genesis Center which lead me to God.
